The Institute has a well-maintained residential environment for learning though we have the problems related to the age of buildings and poor power condition in the area. We respect and appreciate individual differences and strive to promote a sense of community among the residents. Residential life also foster leadership promotes understanding of diverse backgrounds and life styles encourage cooperative decision making and supports activities that allow students to uncover and broaden their interests. The environment provided is conducive for the inmates to grow intellectually socially and physically.

We have FOUR Boys Hostels having residential capacity of approx: 350 students, and a girl's hostel having capacity of 60 students. One temporary girl's hostel having 30 seat capacity is also ready to welcome new entrants. Each hostel has its own dining hall, kitchen, reading rooms and other recreational facilities.
